How to Test Your Alarm

Please test your alarm regularly to verify your system is operating properly. To test your alarm:

  1. Arm your system and wait for the green light on the keypad to go out.
  2. Open a door to set off your alarm and wait until the loud siren sounds for at least 15 seconds.
  3. Turn off your system with your 4 digit code.
  4. You will receive a call from our Dispatch Center. Let them know you were just testing, and give them your verbal password.

If you don't receive a phone call you may have turned the system off too quickly, but please notify us right away if you don't receive a call. We want to make sure your system is functioning properly, as well as avoid any false alarms with the police department.
